About Me

Training & Experience

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Colorado (#3829).

I completed a Bachelor's degree in psychology at Fort Lewis College in 2002. Following my undergraduate education I worked in a variety of clinical arenas including: residential treatment centers for children/adolescents, National Jewish Health medical center, private psychology and neuropsychology practices. At these sites I provided services such as milieu therapy, group therapy, neuropsychological testing assistance and research assistance.

I later attended the University of Denver where I completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) in 2011. During my training I participated in clinical externships at Kaiser Permanente Behavioral Health Eating Disorders Program, Denver Public Schools, the University of Colorado Boulder CAPS Program and private psychology practices. During this time I received 2.5 years of specialty training in screening, diagnosing and treating autism spectrum disorders.

Following completion of my graduate school training I worked at Kaiser Permanente from 2011 to 2017. While at Kaiser I was privileged to work in Behavioral Health for 5 years helping construct the Developmental Pediatrics and Autism Program. In that capacity I provided clinical services such a screenings, diagnostic evaluations for autism, care coordination, social skills programs, group therapy, parent education and specialty psychotherapy. I also provided administrative services such as program development and coordination with other departments within Kaiser and vendor relations with outside providers. In addition I have worked within the Kaiser Behavioral Health outpatient department to provide psychotherapy to individuals of all ages and presenting concerns.

I am also available for providing education to schools, universities and private organizations regarding issues around Autism Spectrum Disorders, neurodiversity, mental health and therapeutic gaming.
